Directed & Produced by Roxana Vilk . Four new contemporary Theatre art works commissoned for Fadjr Festival Tehran, and performed at the National Theatre Tehran .
Working closely with the Dramatic Arts Centre in Iran, Roxana set up a UK/Iran theatre project, funded by Visiting Arts, to create 4 new devised works with 50 actors and musicians from across Iran. Through a series of workshops which focused on how to create narratives and stories without words but through movement, live music, sound design and image.
Roxana and her creative team from the UK worked for 3 weeks and then presented the new works at the festival.
The UK team were Peter Vilk live music and sound design Pippa Murphy sound design, Skye Reynolds Choreography, Miriam Nabarro sceneography, Nigel Osborne Music.
