An invitation to listen to six diverse local and global voices 

 Sharing different personal stories exploring how our human experience of sand is ingrained in our lives and consciousness. The stories also consider the significance and dependence of sand to humans and all living life forms on our planet. 

What does sand mean to you? 

We explored recording different contributors, types of sand up close, waves crashing onto beaches and creating new imaginative soundscapes inspired by the myriad uses of sand in our fragile world.
