'Composing The Commonwealth' are 8 short films directed and produced by Roxana Vilk with music and sound design by Peter Vilk for the Commonwealth Games 2014.commissioned by Scottish Poetry Library andCommonwealth Year of Culture, funded by British Council, Creative Scotland, Creative New Zealand and Shetland Arts.
Featuring the award winning poets Jen Hadfield, Glenn Coloqoun, Rab Wilson and Tanya Shirley The 8 films were shot in the Shetland Isles, Dumfries and Galloway and Glasgow and all screened as part of the Commonwealth Games, and were selected for the Berlin FilmPoetry Festival 2015 and led to Roxana being nominated for a Margaret Tait Award .
